Default G71 Cycle for Left-Hand Turning

I'm making some flange-shaped parts and need to turn some features on both sides of the flange itself. My lathe is a front-turret machine with a Fanuc OTC control. For the features on the -Z side of the flange, I want to use a G71 cycle with a left-hand tool . When using the G71 cycle for right-hand turning, the pullout moves are +X and +Z. More my left-hand turning, however, I need the pullouts to be +X and -Z. How can I accomplish this?

The pullout direction depends on the position of the tool just before calling G71.
For left-to-right turning, the tool should be placed to the left of the first point on the profile. Proper pullout would be automatically done.

This is from the 0TC Lathe Operator's Manual (the highlighted one would be used for the Z- side of the flange.
