the machine was made in china and here in Australia the 3 phase is 415v +- 5% and could be as high as 435v the sticker on the power input has 380V could this be a problem ?

    Thanks

Ok none of this may be causing your problem, but you will have to check all your voltages, the VFD if the voltage was to high it would fault so that part should be ok, checking for noise plug in an old TV near you cabinet or machine and see how the screen reacts, you will see the noise on the screen if there is any, this saves buying a meter to check for EMF / EMI

So this leaves the drives and the low voltage to check

The motion card check that you have 24v, this can not be more than the 24v

Then check your drives to see that the voltage in within there spec, usually they can be with in 15% to 20% of spec

    Hi Guys

After checking everything voltages cables it was the Rapid FRO% setting i reduced it from 100% to 15% and returned the motors settings back to how they were and it worked perfect i just have to set the Rapid FRO% before i start each job

Thanks again your help got me on the right path it was a speed issue

That means your velocity setting is too high. Rapid Override should be at 100%, and your velocity settings in motor tuning should be 15% of what you have them set to.

Ok i will reduce the velocity down to 15% and see how that goes with the rapid FRO% at 100

    Thanks
