    Default G-Code help

    Hi Forum,

    Scenario: (Hobbyist)

    Solidworks -> Camworks - Post processor -> G-code- Mach3 (Sherline 2010 mill)

Have an issue and really not sure how to approach the problem and thus remedy - so in simple terms stuck.

I have attached a few files:
    1. G-code in question
    2. Error codes from Mach 3 on loading
    3. Post processor 4SCW

anyone who can give me some guide / help would be gleefully and gracefully estatic.

Your codes are too simple to recreate using a custom CAM though, I dont know how you code it sir, it says bad character used line2 on my MACH 3

    Hi

the is output from CamWorks for SolidWorks - no changes- theoretically with an operational post processor there should be no errors

first, there are lines that actually have 2 lines together. Like this line
    N6 G40 G90N11 (16MM 60 DEG CARB CENTERDRILL)
    Should be
    N6 G40 G90
    N11 (16MM 60 DEG CAR CENTERDRILL)

The second thing is that you have drilling cycles that you don't cancel before changing tools

so I understand - the format should be 2 lines, this, as I understand is a Fanuc Generic based post processor
I am recreating the post processor tonight to see if this helps

excuse my lack of understanding - you mean M6 for tool change?
