I'm not sure what you are asking, could you explain what you mean by "losing a few steps?" Do you want to remove a section of code and run the program without it, or do you want to start from the middle of the program? Or is it something else?
I am loosing a few steps in very long g-code programs. Is the a way to automatically return home (referencing the home switches) and then continue on in the program?

A better option is to fix your machine so it doesn't lose steps, but if you really want to home it in the middle of the g-code, try using G28.
