Thumbs down Advertising gone beyond all possible reasonable limits

You have gone past the limit!
I have a very fast computer, a FIOS connection, and the response time of this site is pitiful! And invariably at the bottom of the screen during endless delays the message is, Connecting to CNCZone advertising!!!
I understand free enterprise, better than most, and what I understand is that if things get out of hand then the customer, in this case the user, speaks out and if not appeased, the customer goes away. Could be I'm not alone.

Considering I can load pages within a couple of seconds, for instance when I clicked the reply button this page loaded in less than a second, and I only have an ADSL connection I don't think it is the site that is slow.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.

I think you should go away, this is a free site that is one of the best things on the internet. I don't know what's wrong with your connection, but I have no problem with loading on this site. It loads fast for me and I don't have 1 single complaint with this website at all. Nobody is going to miss you here, nobody likes a winer. Try to think possitive, there are more things going on right now to be pissed off about then boo hooing that your computer or connection or website " that is free" loads to slow.

The site is FAST the banners HAVE nothing to do with the site speed, I run a 8 proc server for the site and a SPERATE 4 proc server for the banner ads. I use the best servers and spend a lot of $$$$$ to keep this site fast, I have upgraded the server at least 6 times and right now the server are handling the load perfectly. I you do a tracert you will see the bottle neck.
    Thank You,

I experience slowdown on the ad parts once in a while too but I have my virus checker and Firefox set tighter than a tick.
When it happens a quick click on the refresh button will bring it right up. If you are still dissatisfied go to any one of the other cnc forums. Oh wait, sorry.
I used to be appalled, now I'm just amused.

Seems to be nice and fast....

I can understand where the OP is coming from as I have intermittent slowdowns with "connecting to ads.cnczone.com" patience prevails!

Maybe my country sucks like the OP's?

Loads fine for me and I'm using a "3" dongle (basicaly using a mobile phone- no cables or wires or phone line or fibre), I got firewall and AVG running too. And I'm a continent away!
I love deadlines- I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

    Okay, I'm nearly alone.
I'm right here in Sarasota, Florida so that's not it.
It's not always slow but when it is, the bottom of the screen always says, "connecting to ads.cnczone.com"
