I brought this up before, some completely obliterate the menu, if you notice at the top right of most, almost greyed out is a tab that says 'Block'.
This adds the offender to the filter list.

While I realise that the banner ads help fund the site, would it be too much to ask that they be kept behind the drop down menus?

I think it might only be the ads done in Flash, that is causing the dropdown to stay behind the ads?
Here is the banner that is in the attached image.

Thats one of the biggest offenders, I don't see it now I have assigned it to the filter/blocker.

I agree. Sometimes when trying to click on a menu, it will not even allow me unless I click on the advertising link. As earlier mentioned, the ads pay for the site, but maybe they could be laid out a bit better to cause less annoyance.![]()
Just a note.
If a banner ad is blocking something, hit the the Refresh on your browser, then try the dropdown.
Chances are it will take a few page refresh before you see that ad again.
BTW, that ad/image I posted is still floating around in other forums, I just found it over at the CncBrain forum (here on cnczone).

Mine have disappeared completely after hitting the block tab, anyone else see it at the top right of the popup?
