HELP!I have belonged to CNCzone for quit a while and follow many different threads. A while back I believe the software was updated to vBulletin® Version 3.7.0 Release Candidate 2. Ever since then I have to log in every day and sometimes several times a day. When this happened I made no changes to my computer so I find it hard to believe that is the problem. I belong to several other forums that also use vBulletin and do not have a problem with them. I have deleted my cookies several times in several different ways and there is no change. Does anyone else have this problem or any answers on how to fix it? Thank you Don |

| I can tell you it's 100% on your end, ethier your running a software program that blocks cookies or your running norton. It has nothing to do with the upgrade. I access cnczone from a different computers on different networks and location and zero problems logging in and staying logged in. Their is nothing done differently on my site than another other VB site out there.

I was at my computer and trying to access a forum when you were upgrading the software and got a message saying something to the effect that you were upgrading and things would be back to normal in a few minutes. I did not have to log in for this session or for any other secession in the past while. I tried to acess the same forum again a few minutes later and this time I had to log in. I figured that it had something to do with the upgrade so loged in again. Every day since then I have had to log in at least once and sometimes several times in the same day even though I have checked the remember me box. I have deleted my cookies several times as well and that has mad no difference. I run Symantec Antivirus, Webroot spy sweeper and a google tool bar that blocks popups. I have no program that I know of that blocks cookies. I do not have any norton programs unless you call Symantec a Norton program. All the programs that I listed here I have had running for a long time before this problem started so I do not see how they could be affecting my loging in. I have not installed any new programs at the time that this problem started. If I was running a program that blocked cookies then would it not interfere with the other forums that I belong to, both VB and other types? I just want to solve this problem as it is becoming very frustrating. What should I do? What ????? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Don |

All I am asking for is help in trying to get this problem sorted out. Has no one else had any problems like this. I notice that lots of people read this thread but no one except the moderator replies and all they can say is it is 100% my problem but he won't even work with me to try and find a solution. Does anyone have any ideas on where to start with solving this problem of not being able to keep logged in.? Don |

| Hi, I think I'm having the same problem. I access the zone from three different computers and I tick the Remember Me checkbox on all three each time I log in but the next time I enter I'm "forgotten". It used to work when I first joined but then it stopped working. I remember reading about cookies and such but it's not that big of a deal for me so I never investigated it further. /Henrik. |

| It has nothing to do with cnczone, it's whatever software you are running that is blocking the cookies being set from this site. Try reading this- I Can't Login Or Stay Logged In!

If you can't see the buttons OR you keep getting the warning about Norton, your Norton pop-up blocker and ad blocker are the cause. Norton puts code in our pages (on the fly) that triggers the warning. Turn it off for a second and you'll see. Their ad blocker thinks our buttons are ads (because their software engineers didn't get this one right before releasing it to the public). Here's how to fix it: Open Norton Internet Security Select "Anti-Spam" on the left Either disable Ad Blocking or use the advanced configuration to permit "ads" on cnczone (this will allow the buttons to be displayed) Do the same procedure with the pop-up blocker Then, write Norton a note telling them to adequately test their features before selling them!!
