How can I get a bitmap to display in the forum.

I wanted to display a bitmap picture in a forum post, but found that it would only come up as a downloadble file instead of a picture.

Oh, and I am aware that I could change it to a gif or jpg, but I dont want to do that. It must be a bitmap.

Is there a way to do this?
    Being outside the square !!!

You can always host it somewhere offsite, or perhaps in the photos section, then link to it thus:

The bad thing about bitmaps is a large file size - the one I linked to here is 59k. The same thing in jpg would be about 10k.

    Benny, have a look here..

How do I post multiple images in my thread?

I haven't tried it with a bitmap thought.
