    SLOW Forum

Is anyone else having trouble with this forum being very slow at time? Starting on 4/24/03 in the morning I could not get the pages to show unless I waited for 3-5 min. Does the server need re-booting?
    Thanks

Yep, I get it quite often, but always put it down to me being in the UK. Sometimes, the pages just don't load at-all either.
    Sorry!

Boy would'nt you know, I call my hosting provider and they said in the morring the server's runs the log files so you will see the site run slower, this happens on a daily basis.

I just posted this and I went back to the main screen, took about 3 mins. I did a refresh, took another 3-4 mins, and you have posted three posts before I could see the thread!!! I am in Oregon.
    Thanks

Some of the problem could be from my end because I'm at work now and going through our firewall, but we do have a very nice connection here at NIKE.
    Thanks

    Slow forum

    Paul G,
I'm in Wyoming and it's getting pretty slow here at times. It is definitely slowed down in the last week or so. I've got DSl at 256k and I haven't noticed any other sites that have slowed down like this has. I just figured it was do to the popularity this site has gained.
My sugestion would be that EVERYONE who uses and enjoys this site make a DONATION so Paul can get a Huge new server.
The way I look at it is if you use something you should do your part to keep it working. If we all help a little, we will have a great place to talk about things we all love.(I know my wife dose'nt want to hear about it any more)

Thanks wms, I just upgraded to more banwidth last week, the site has been using lots of it, I have a friend that can hook me up with a dedicated server but it will cost 200.00 a month. I'm going to put up a page to acknowlege those who have donated to the site to say thank you. here is the link http://cnczone.com/suporters.php?s=

    Guys,
At $200 a month and as of today 481 members, that's a whole 42 cents a month. Where else can you get this much fun and enjoyment, let alone information and help for 42 cents a month?
A $50 donation would last you 119 years.
