    Receiving Duplicate Notifications

All of a sudden I am receiving duplicate notifications in my email of a link I have been posting on, just one link, the others are OK. Been in the Zone for a few years and never had this before.

Is ther anything I can do?

    Thanks

Are you deleting the emails off the server? If your using outlook, their is a setting that keeps your emails on the server. The dead give-away is the date and time, this is not on our end, cnczone is not sending those emails.

    I am not using Outlook.

After I read one I delete them all from my Hotmail email screen, don't know if that is the "Server" you are refering to?

The emails are sent to me automatically when someone replies on CNCZone to this user/post only.

But the time should be different. Log onto you email account on-line and I bet you will see that your emails aren't deleting.

I have (using Hotmail) up to 10 emails exactly the same on occasions also but have not checked the dates.

Yahoops has done the same thing to me countless times.

I had the same problem with that particular thread as well, these days I don't check email notification for threads now as there can be a lot of them (I need a life ) and in any case I find it easier to just open a browser and click on User Cp

I actually unsubscribed from that one and re-subscribed with no email notification, I didn't want to lose the thread
