    New post notices in Email

I have my CP settings set properly and I'm still getting notices of posts I'm subscribed to by email. This started two weeks ago on it's own. I went to my CP and found the settings had been bounced back to send notices. I reset them to no notices, yet they are still coming. What is broken in the forum to cause this?

The forum is working perfect, your email service is blocking emails coming from cnczone.

That is odd. I have eight new ones all to threads I am subscribed to. The correct User cP boxes are checked/unchecked to not be flooded with mail yet it is happening. I don't have any CNCzone email blocks in place on my end. I try to take care of those problems at the source. That is the reason for this post.

After doing more research, I found that EVERY one of the posts I had subscriptions to had been changed to instant and weekly notifications. I sure as heck didn't do that. They are all changed back finally. My default has always been either "Do not subscribe" or "No Email Notification."

FWIW, when I decided to cancel email notification to threads I had subscribed to, I think I had to go in somewhere and somehow had to unsubscribe to every old thread that I had ever had a subscription to. I remember a whole lot of pointin' and clickin' but exactly what the process was, I've forgotten.

Mr Wild, you do not post a message "unsubscribe thread" in a thread to unsubscribe to it. I hope you read this before you create a zillion spam posts.
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)

LOL No, I didn't read it, but realized there had to be a better/faster way. Unfortunately the only way mentioned is to set the setting at the time of the post. I did find out how after a bit of hunting. A small note saying how or pointing to the area in User CP that does the trick would be great. I think I only spammed eight or so posts....
