I have no idea if this is where I should put this so please forgive me. I am trying to figure out how to attach a link to text so I people can click the text and go directly to my web sight. The colsest thing I can find is the icon INSERT LINK but that didnt do it. There cant be much to this but I dont know how to do it. Mike. |

If you are talking about your signature, I think this is how you do it. Click on the UserCP on the header (darker blue area at the top of any page) and go to the edit signature option and it will allow you to customize your signature line that will appear in all posts. Hope this information is of some help. John |

John. I want to type (or insert) the name of my web sight when I reply or create a thread. You know, underlined text and highlights when you hover over it then click it and it goes to your web sight (or whatever link you want to go to). Should have been more clear the first time hu? Mike. Just tried to find the edit signature thing you mentioned. Cant seem to track it down, if thats what I need to do still. |

| I don't think you can add a clickable link to your signature. You could add the link, just can't click it (copy & paste). After you sign in. Edit Signature: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/profil...=editsignature Edit Profile: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/profil...do=editprofile . |

| I dont even know how to edit my signature or what it even means. Lets say I am typing a response to a thread. I want to direct them to the Ebay sight. How do I. I want them to click on the text Ebay.com and it directs them to the ebay sight. All I have done is ask questions and surfed the cnc zone forum and am now trying to go to the next level. I dont even know what a signature is or how to insert it in a response if this is even the right track. It seems like it should be something simple like highlight the text, surf the web for a sight, click open(or attach) and a link is attached to the text. What am I missing here. Im lost. Mike. |

Click the "edit signature" link Switcher gave you and enter a signature. It will show up on every post you make. But, like Switcher said, you're signature won't have a clickable link, although you can put the web address in it.

| Isn't this the actual address? ![]() http://conceptualmachining.com/ I think it's better to put the actual address, some folks get the wrong idea, If they think your trying to re-direct them to another site. . |
