    Sporadic Email Notifications

I have noticed that since the new forum has been in action that the email notifications is sporadic. I went back to my settings to see if I could set it so that any email i responded to would put me on the subscribed thread list. I cant see that setting any more.

Now I have to manually check to see If I havnt missed a reply.

I still get email notifications but not all the time.

Is this a problem that I need to fix or a forym problem?

Is anyone else having this problem too?

I don't seam to be having a problem, I have a number of threads I'm subscribed to and get emails every time someone replies. You can subscribe to forum you know instead of a thread.

Please let me know if you guys are having problems, I will get on it ASAP.

Paul, under what circumstances does one become automatically subscribed to a thread. I've been unknowingly subscribed to several. would it be possible to somehow ask before one is subscribed? Since I read most of the new messages every day, I don't need the emails to notify me of new posts.

You have to set it in "my CNCzone" under "edit options" >Use 'Email Notification' by default? OR you can select it on a post by post bases.

I guess by the quiet response that I am the only one who is having problems.
Since your reply I unsubscribed to every thing and just resubscribed to a few forums instead.
The Aussie forum was one of my subscriptions. I happened to have a look in there yesterday and notice that there was a new posting. I did not get an email. This is one example of many incidences

I manage to keep tabs on my posts by doing a new post search, but it would be best if I got an email.

I guess its hard to fix this sort of sporadic problem for one individual. but I just thought if it was happening to others too, then it may be worth looking into.
