Maybe you should try this then http://www.webroot.com/consumer/products/

Keeps my system clean as a whistle Just watch the Window Washer. It works great but it takes a bit of careful attention.

Hey Paul, nice to see you!!

I dumped Norton because it drained my system. Not the Best system but good enough. Norton also interfeared with NC Plot, BobCAD, EDI, and all the Forums even if Cookies where allowed.

Kaspersky is the current leader at Cnet.com It uses the least system resources and catches everything. The free virus scanner at aol.com is the Kaspersky tool. No need to spend $50 for the best virus scanner on the market when AOL is giving it away for free.

I am getting a trojan alert thru mcaffe for VBS/Psyme when I hit the home page twice today now, and I am running an old version of mcaffe. Did not have this problem yesterday.

Have you ever done an update on Definitions? That is the only thing about this type of software, it constantly has to update it's Definitions everyday.

Curently this PC is protected against 169,635 SpyWares and 210,795 Viruses
Key loggers and thousands of other Malicious Threats.

Well I am not a virus expert but if the computer is deleting files it reccives via a web page isnt that a problem with the page that I opened? As for updating the defintion that requires me purchasing mcaffe again and I don't like them anymore, that computer was purchased second hand with it already installed in it. Otherwise it just sits there quietly in the tray were I ignore it on the odd off chance I am running that computer.

If your using a High Setting for your Firewall this can happen too. What exatly do you mean by the PC is Deleting Files???? Your PC shouldn't delete any files unless you delete them. Do you use Internet Explorer or FireFox for a Browser?

    Hey what's up Buddy

I just Dumped Norton when the renewal came in. It was HOGGING Everything. Then is started interfearing with BCC. That drew the line on Norton. Now things are running Faster and Better than ever with these http://www.webroot.com/consumer/prod...a89a598096a5a3

If there is going to be a HOG on this PC It Better be a CAD/CAM, LOL

BTW: How is that Router coming along???

    Cheers!!!!!
