subscribed thread options

is it possible to set an option to not receive emails from subscribed threads as a default?

i know i can manually change the option after i have responded to a thread but can it be changed to no mail by default?

From the menu above choose 'User CP'.
On the left under Control Panel - Settings & Options pick 'Edit options'.
In the Messaging and Notification area go to the Default Thread Subscription Mode area and select 'Instant Email Notification' from the drop down box.

Last, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on the 'Save Changes' button.

Thanks i found it, no idea how i missed it the dozen or so times i was in there looking for it.
