I'm guessing this happens to others, based on the number of double posts I see. Click the "Post Quick Reply", the page changes, I usually see an ad, then it just hangs. The post DOES go through, though. I usually just click back and refresh, and the post is there. Happens with both Firefox and IE, on 2 different machines. Any ideas, Paul?

| Non- I don't see that problem, it could be just a slow internet connection, the site does not update faster than the post gets posted.

Happens to me occasionally, sometimes I get 'page not available' and have to go back and try again. This happens on different computers at different locations with different servers all of them fast so I don't think it is caused by something at my end. |

| I have found this happening with the 'Post Quick Reply'. Sometimes it goes through, sometimes not, depending upon how long I want to wait and stare at the blank screen! Clicking on 'Go Advanced' then posting seems to avoid (Workaround) the problem. Dont know whats wrong. |

| I think this may be related to the mystery trojan mentioned in this thread http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26162. I just realised it hasn't happened to me in a few days since I detected and cleaned off the infection. I suggest checking your machines folks. Neither AdAware, SpyDoctor or AVG AntiVirus found the infection. Only McAfee running in the background. |

| October 29, 2006. This website is seriously hanging sometimes when a reply to a post is made. This happens with both IE7 and Mozilla Firefox. This has started about a week ago. The only way to clear it is to dump the browser and start over. The replies get dumped. This is very irritating because some thought and time gets invested in the replies. Grrrr..... Mariss |

| Mariss, try just clicking back in your browser and refresh. The post should be therre. I've never lost a post yet. Edit: It hung on this post. The DeskCNC ad appeared, and nothing else. hit Back, and refresh and here's the post.

As Ger says click back and your reply is still there. I just copy it into a Notepad document before closing the browser. |

| No. What happens here is the browsers lock. As in solid. As in Alt-Ctrl-Del solid. Clean (no diseases), very fast, non-overclocked machine here on a broadband cable connection. Mariss |

| It hung again, and the ad was for Fred's router, same company as the DeskCNC ad. Are you guys seeing the same ads when it hangs? Nevermind, it hung again when I posted this and it was an ad for the CNC Zone toolbar.
