Ha. Funny I saw this and was expecting something different.

I just insatlled php5.0.5 on my machine. Oh what fun getting it to work with apache and mysql.

php is a scripting language executed on the server.

I have no idea why you're seeing empty pages. So I guess that doesn't help you much.

Just thought it odd, that this post shold appear after I spent 2 nights getting php5 working properly.

    Sorry.

Hi. No you don't need this software to open anything on this website. All the clever stuff gets done on the server, the other end to where you are.

The software's working OK thanks. It the damn database that's playing up now.

Really tho'. You shouldn't need to do anything to see attachments etc...
It's odd that you can't see them.

Sorry for not being much help.

    Terry.

Have you tried right clicking on an attachment and choose "save as" or similar, depending on your browser. It sounds like you are downloading the actual page instead of the attachment.

    save as

When I right click on the attachement, I do not get a save as or save. I get copy page location. When I double click on the attachement I get save to file with a *.php extention,I do not get a save as no matter what I do. Larry
