Forum page loading issues (Waiting for google ads to load)

Hey Paul, of recent I have noticed that there are a lot of pages that fail to load, or half load, due to external adds not loading.
My browser shows the main problems are with Google adds and myaffiliate.
How much revenue does Google pay compared to the main advertisers. Are they really worth having?

I always click the genuine adds to support the forum, but never click the google adds. I wonder if others do the same.

Google started off with simple uninvasive text adds, but now they have a slot here, they are exploiting it more with bigger file sized adds that cause the pages to spasmodically load.

Is anyone else finding this issue?

EDIT Before anyone tells me I can block all adds, I am aware of this already, but I do want to support the forum by clicking the occasional add from time to time.

I have not seen this problem at all and so far have not had anyone else complain. I'm on the site all day and find the site loading very fast.

I see this occasionally. But if any pages don't load immediately, refreshing the browser will get them to load. It's been that way for a long time. Sometimes the ads just seem to hang, but refresh fixes it right away for me.

Maybe its a cache issue but refreshing doesn't solve it for me. Oddly enough it only happens on certain pages and if I open a new tab with a different zone page that will load and the other one remains hung no matter how often it is refreshed. Only the top part of the page loads.

so far have not had anyone else complain
Not a "complaint" an error report.

It's been that way for a long time.]
Agreed. It seems to be happening increasingly though.

I'll second what Gerry said. Been this way for a long time. I also find it more probable that it will happen if I have bandwidth problems. My ISP was bogging down and if I tried to stream a video or download a big file and surf the zone, this problem would occur.
