Forum timing out all the time

Anyone else getting problems with the forum constantly timing out? I have been getting it 3-4 times a day in the past month or so but this week it is all the time. Sometimes threads/searchs wont load but the main forum does and other times nothing loads at all.

I thought it was due to my connection being capped again to 135kb/s but I have no problems connecting to any other site/forum, UK or US.

    Anyone else getting the problem?

AFAIK - I came to this sub-forum to post exactly the same thing when of course I noticed your post. This never used to happen to me - response was always good/immediate but now more often than not I have to give up on cnczone because it just hangs. Sometimes I get the status message "waiting for cnczone.com" for a couple of minutes and then "Done" but the screen is blank. Sometimes (more often) I get "waiting for ads.cnczone.com" and then nothing. Not sure if it's pertinant but I notice you're UK based like me. This has also started happening with the Mach3 forum but not quite as bad. Who is your ISP and have you changed recently? also what browser do you use because I've recently changed to plusnet and firefox. Plusnet of course say it's nothing to do with them and I have to say I'm not impressed with firefox for other reasons. It's a darn nuisance whatever it is because like I said, more often than not can't get onto cnczone any more. I'll click the "submit reply" button now but chances are it'll time out on me

Intermittently, I will also have the "Waiting for Ads" message. I have found that it will hang there quite often. I stop the download and hit the refresh button and it will work properly then.

    Hey stirling,

I have been with ADSL24 for 2-3 years they used to be very good until they switched suppliers around 2-3 months ago. I am still getting this problem but it is now on almost every website I go on frequently, so it is a problem my end. There are so many problems with my connection it is taking quite sometime to figure out this problem. Of course it does not help when blame is shifted between ISP, BT and BT wholesale.

Last time I had connection problems like this it was with my router which is a Linksys WRT54GL, somebody turned on the firewall which was blocking almost everything.
