    Unhappy Avatars

    Hello folks,

I seem to be unable to select an avatar. I have searched the forum all over and yes, i tried to edit my personal options, just like described in various posts. When i get to the part where i select to use the avatar yes or no, i only have a NO - selection area. And this area must be unselected to be able to use them.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Ed.

Try again...I think you can choose one after you've posted at least once...is this right?

    Talking

    Yep,

After posting this first message the editing options have expanded now so that i can post my own avatars.

For some reason i didn't see the line that i would have to send at least one message first to be able to use avatars. Must be blind then

    RTFM

Thats what i keep telling others, like my family, if something like this happens.

    Read The FXXXXXX Manual

    Anyway, thanks everybody.

    , i do too,

It looks exactly like one of my cats. The text that came with the picture was something like, "Bird? What Bird?". Hilarious.

Thanks for the warm welcome Klox.

Indeed fun to check this website every now and then. It seems to become an addiction for me.

Recently i bought a brandnew lathe. Hope to find more tips on that subject. Then i can finish the telescope i'm building.

Groeten, (greetings, for non dutch viewers)

    Edwin.

    These avatars are really tiny.
At least if you upload yer own anyway...

It seems to me that the limitation of of 7.5k is too small.
Are they all limited to this size?

You can use any picture you want. Open something you like in a photo editor and resize it small. Then browse for it when uploading it in the profile options.

Or, post the photo you want to use here and I will fix it up for you.

    Eric

    I wish it wouldn't crash.
