    hi highseas,

thanks for your info about the "excelmill" broken link.

are u flying in jb ?

about openoffice, i've not yet play around with it. the reason i use excel 2003 to create my software is because my wife is a teacher. as a teacher she get school computer and has excel 2003 installed. so when she's not using during the night i'll take incharge.

regarding my foam cutter machine, it's rather ugly actually. i'll consider to post some picture on my website.

    rgds,
    arman

    arman - Greetings.
Porting the ExcelCut to Open Office would be real nice! Aa great combo - 2 freebie programs!

Is there a way to test/check a file without having the controllers attached to the pc? I'd like to do that to make sure all is well before taking the file out to the "shop." Maybe some trick to fool the software into not looking for the controller?

Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.

    hello arman

i think i have not made my question clear! what i meant was--- i was having a start up problem i.e once i open the program ( for the 1st time ) i input the parallel port address and un-check the home limit option the save the file and then give power to the machine wala it works -----as far as delay speed is concerned i have gone as low as 2000 without any glitching problems .

now for the problem , at the time of closing the program i get an saving option ( if i save the current setting are not ) once the program is closed and opened back it won't work ! but all of sudden after lots of opening and closing is works !

I'm new to all this stuff ! and i have been running this program on IBM laptop P4 , OS-XP service pack 2 and office 2007 !

thanks again for the help and i think its an wounder full program,i just have to work out my bugs

    hi sahil,
try save as 2003 version. i'll test it with 2007 next week. (Holiday season in Malaysia)

    hi high seas,
    you can do that by
    1. on 'limit switch' section UNCHECKED the Enable Home & limit Switch
    2. on 'Shape Cut' section put 'Pause on Cut' = 1

    rgds,
    arman

    excelcut still available?

    Cheers arman, hi everybody!

just came across the excelcut project - very interesting.
I tried to locate it on the www to have a closer look but
it seems like the links don't work (netmyne...).
Is there any other chance to get a closer look to the
    package?

    Thanks and best regards

    Dolphi

Is there an alternative download site for this software. The original site seems to be down.

Or does someone have a copy of the latest (4.2 version ?) they could send me? The software is free for personal use.

    Thanks!
