**NEWBIE**Need suggestions for Cad CAM to run older software.
I recently purchased a CNC Plasma table running Flashcut version 2.0.9. I need to purchase CAD CAM software to draw and design with. Im having trouble finding which Cad Cam programs to use. I called Flashcut's tech support line and they tell me I have to update to their USB software. The version I have should work as I watched it run before purchase. There is no doubt about it that I am a newbie to cnc but have to start somewhere. I will be running a Windows XP Desktop. Thanks for any and all help!

You can draw and design with other software and just import the dxf to flashcut. I did that before i bought the full software.
Adobe illustrator can export to a dxf. Corel draw.
Draft sight and inkscape are free and can export to a dxf.
Which table did you buy? I am on version 6.0.6.104 I think for the software
