A little help please! I’m having an issue with my FeatureCam so I decided the best thing I could do was to uninstall all versions of FeatureCam in my system/ clear my registry, then reinstall from scratch. Something just isn’t right with it in my new 10 ½ gig Quad core. It’s like something else has gotten a hold of the software and its limiting or should I say “disallowing” some of the more advanced capabilities FeatureCam offers. But after I do a complete uninstall then reinstall I end up with the very same limited features as I had before uninstalling. But my reinstall isn’t going clean either I get a error window popping up at the end of the install saying; ERROR. Turn off my UninstallWizard. But to the best of my knowledge I don’t have a UninstallWizard protecting my computer.
Also I’m running the very same load off the very same disc in my 3.2 gig computer in my shipping office and it doesn’t show or have any of these problems. zero/ZIP!
Any Ideas? All help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Prior to Ver 2010 ( Not yet released ) FeatureCAM does not support multicore PCs, it only uses one processor.
If you look at simulation settings you can see the products you are licensed for.
If it's not correct try reloading the PAF file if you have a backup copy, or if you have been paying the maint fees contact your local rep and see if he can help get a correct one for you.
The PAF is the license and security file and can be found usually under c:\delcam\paf\
Good luck!
