I am using Featurecam 2007 and am having a hell of a time getting the 4th axis machining to work. I am starting out with something simple, just round bar with flats. I am importing my Solidworks model and turning on the 4th axis option and indexing. How are you guys making this stuff work? |

| 4th axis is probably the "trickiest part of FC. you need to get your "stock axis" setup properly to even think of getting it to work. the "help" part of FC will help but the videos will "show" you what you need better (of course). i know this sin't much help, but as i said 4th is kinda hard to try to explain in a reply. |
