I posted these on the FeatureCAM forum anybody here offer any help? This may seem a simple question for some of the more experienced users but I have two questions about the software. 1. Is it possible once I have imported the matrix plate I wish to position my billet on. I wish to have the billet located against four pins to locate, is there some command that can be used to locate the billet against the pins? 2. If I have multiple stage machining and I want to reposition the matrix plate is there some way of maintaining what has been machined say at stage 1 then reposition around that first stage of machining. I'm not sure I explained well. I've been drawing my parts up in solidworks and for people that understand solidworks know that you can mate parts together to have there true interface. This is what I want to do with featurecam. So I can import the finished part put the stock around it then import the fixture and mate the stock face withthe fixture face? Is it actually possiable? |
