Programming a slitting saw

Hi All,

OK… simple question… how do you use a slitting saw in FC? I see FC has as saws in the basic tool pack… but I can’t pick up the feature. I’ve tried a few of the normal tricks… but nothing lets me select something on the side of my model.

I’m going to answer my own question so others will know.

1) Draw the curve
2) Use the groove feature
3) Select the curve
4) Select “inside out”
5) Now you can select a slitting saw for the tool
