FeatureCAM - outside radius? I am getting up to speed with FeatureCAM and have my part's outline drawn. I made all the appropriate curves, and extruded surfaces from them. So far so good, I made all the inside features, the faces, grooves, drilled holes and pockets. But now I want to use a ball mill to add a 1/4" outside radius around an extruded curve. How the heck does one go about this? Do I need a solid? Hopefully not, thus far everything I have wanted to do is easily done with curves and surfaces. Any help is most appreciated!

You do not need a surface. If you have the curve you can make a feature from it. If you use the boss feature you can choose the depth and the the radius at the bottom of the feature. Then you can select the tools for rough, finish and radius. Gary

or if you already have the surface "I made all the appropriate curves, and extruded surfaces from them. So far so good" then just select the radius and a surface mill operation I have the best luck with x or y parallel happy coding!
