Multiple Rough Issues

Does anyone use the Multipule tool in the rough mode? We have tried using it but it seems to cut alot of spots were it doesn't need to ( cuts air). We Are using a 3/4 " insert mill and 3D roughing a part out we then step down to a 1/2 " ball end mill, and it should just go in and get the corners that the 3/4 "
Mill missed but it does alot of stuff it shouldn't.

Turn it off

You should go to the machine attributes and turn it off. 99% of the time you can use 1 tool to rough with, anyway.

we had an issue with multi rough. A part we was machining was planned to be rough machined with a 18mm cutter the because the part had a few slots in 12mm wide we would step down to a 10mm cutter to rough out the slots, but when posted the 18mm was sent into the slots then the 10mm followed. Got intouch with egs they said the new version would fix this problem. but this was 6 years ago we run V7 then and still do. Had no opportunity to check new version.
