Ease of use is essential to any programmer, especially for people making the end product. For most of us the programming phase is just one step along the way to putting things out the door. FeatureCam is a programming platform that provides our business with not only a very powerful ability to generate G code, but also, continues to become more compatable to industries ever-changing Cad possibilities. We may have AutoCad drawings today and Pro-E tomorrow, and so and so on. The import/ export capabilities make FeatureCam an essential tool, when dealing with the wide array of customers in our shop. They don't concern themselves with what we use or which format we prefere. They just send drawings and expect finished product. I use other Cam software and have tried several other products on the market. I would not say anything bad about other software. It all boils down to what you are comfortable using. If your people can't or won't use what you have for them, you ain't gonna make money.
