    Speed and win xp

    I use featurecam from 3 years.....in the win xp task menager the cpu % used from featurecam don't go up 50% in all the work i made.... when i'm doing a 3d parts the program is slow....

    Any answer???

    I think you will find that is more a function of your graphics card than CPU. Tom's Hardware just did a comparison and you can get a powerful 3D card for $100 now. http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/09/...for_the_money/

    If you have a dual core processor, you usually will never see more than 50% use in task manager. If the display is slow, than I'd also say video card. If toolpath generation is slow, then it's either RAM or processor.
