I have a Bridgeport Torqcut 22 with a DX32 controller. When I program a part from an IGES file using FeatureCam (v6.0) and load it into the Bridgeport, the mill stalls when I try to run it and gives me a No feedrate specified error message. The txt program looks identical to one that runs fine which I have written using geometry created in Fcam itself; any ideas? I am using the torqcutti post processor. Both programs run through the simulation mode in Fcam without problem. Thanks Jensen Last edited by drj_95018; 07-07-2011 at 09:54 AM. Reason: more detail |

| If so, you have some sort of ghost character in there. I had a similar problem. I would re-type the line that alarmed out at the controller and it would work fine. A "Legacy Programmer" (what we call the old guys) I work with recommended opening the txt file with 2010 Word and re-saving it, it worked. I then dug into the post processor and corrected the issue. Hope this helps |
