Problem- number engraving

trying to engrave numbers 10mm high. the okuma mill i'm on won't run it with g2 or g3. older engrave programs in machine use x and y moves for everything.
Does anyone know how to post with x y moves only?

First things first, what errors/alarms are coming up?
What control system is on your machine?

I would go so far to say that pretty well 99.99% of machines within the last 30+ years can handle G2/G3 arc moves, so there must be some thing really wrong with your coding.

When you say "post with X Y moves only", what software are you referring to?

Need more information to give you any idea where you might or might not be going wrong.

If possible, give us some code fragments that is giving you a problem, and don't forget the Alarm message.
