Are there any advantages in useing partline progamming over centreline cutting using tool comp. I know the program looks different and why, but why use 1 not the other

Personal preferences mainly. Some people like being able to follow the program and "spot" obvious errors in position- with part line. Others like using part line especially using regrinds and putting in the whole diameter. Flip a coin

I guess it is that, I now found out that if you use partline programming you can't use the multi finish option, where centreline cutting you can.
I still prefer partline cutting though.
