    eBay 15M "A" build

Well, here I am with more on a new FANUC build.

I am trying to put together this eBay built FANUC 15 control, as I have posted on this forum before.

I have selected the following based on some reccomendations from Bill Peiman (memoryman). The first card I bought was the Base 2 Board PArt number A16B-2200-0020/06C which is the CPU with 1MB RAM, also called P25 on the silver sticker on the front of the card.

I also picked out the 13 slot backplane.. A20B-1003-0230.. haven't bought one yet because I dont know which version would work best with the /06version of Base 2 P25 board that I have. Should I use the latest version available?

I also picked out the 15M CRT/MDI A02B-0094-C041 with the vertical keyboard pictured in the attached photo.

I picked out the following 6 cards and the 13 slot Main Board, but since I don't have the manuals I do not know the part numbers of the other 7 boards.

Can anyone send me the 15 A Manuals? Is there a "B" version?

What is the difference between the 15-MA and the 15-MF?

What are the other 7 cards of the 13 that I need?

    I picked out these cards:

    A16B-2200-0171 Serial Port
    A16B-2200-0160 Color Graphics CPU
    A16B-2200-0131 Base 1 PMC CPU
    A16B-2200-0120 Base 0 9" CRT & 512kB
    A16B-2200-0020/06C Base 2 [P2] CPU & 1MB
A16B-2200-0090 Axis Control board [4 Axis]

the 15-B was the next generation of 15 series controls (15-iA came after that).
The F stands for FAPT - just don't bother with that.
You don't need to fill all slots; several are for optional boards. You only need a 9 slot back plane and even then not all slots are needed.
Of more concern is how you are going to handle the I/O.

Did I pick the right boards though?

Of more concern is how you are going to handle the I/O.
What is the A16B-2200-0171 Serial Port then?

What is the part number of the 15-MA Power supply that works with the
    A20B-1003-0230/12C backplane?

Does anyone have copies of the 15 "A" manuals?

    I attached a photo of my 15M "A" CRT/MDI A02B-0094-C041

I have added some new parts.. still trying to make the best out of it.

The latest one is a P26 Board called the Serial Port in the parts listing

It has connector CD4, CD3 and CA8. The backplane connector is CNA.

    The numbered it as A16B-2200-0171/05A

Which board connector is CNA? Where does CD3, CD4 and CA8 go to?
