i have a series oi-TC and would like to know if you can lock the and unlock the spindal in MDI mode?

Can you use an M19 spindal orient to lock?
M28 to unlock?

It depends if the machine tool builder has put this in the pmc, what machine is it? Fanuc do not write PMC's.

M codes can be different from machine to machine. Always check the mtb manual. Never rely on others telling you.
