For those of you who use Compact Flash cards, I found SanDisk 32MB cards for $10 each. And when i tried to back out of the shopping cart, they gave me a $2.00 discount and a free USB memory stick! Oh yeah, free shipping!

SanDisk is all I will buy. So far they have been through the Washer, Dryer, Dropped in Coolant, Dropped on the floor and they still keep working without a single problem.
That's a Great Buy!!!!!!!!![]()

Interestingly enough, the standard 64 MB cards are only $11. Sorry I missed that one.

dcoupar,
Nice get!!
I am new to the Flash Card world but the new machine uses them. And I was told not to get the huge capacity in case of problems. But none of the locals had anything but 4g and up. The company installer was using and recommended the 512. But I wonder if the 32 or 64 wouldnt be enough for our purposes?

Great find!!!
2gb and 4gb will work on new 3xi series. 256mb is the best to use, never get many problems with it.

Nobody wants to buy the ones that Fanuc sells?? I was told their 4GB card is $850+ . I have been looking for cards and checking out alot of them. If you need the bigger 4GB the best to use is either the sandisk original or the original Transcend 80x. Sandisk is the one with the wavy two-tone blue and red on the front and the Transcend has the rainbow stripe and the rest is a light bluish green color. I also found that the Transcend 2GB Industrial cards are the ones that some MTB's are using for their dataservers. I know it's difficult to just walk into a store and find these cards now-a-days with all the faster cards and what not. The one card that I did find is the 2GB Extreme III from sandisk running 20mb/s. Don't forget to check your cards voltage also. Should be 5volts not 3.3volts.
