copy program on fanuc series O or OT

I would like to know how to copy a program from the library and then give that program a different program # so that edits can be made. I read the manual over and over again but cant find the soft key ex-edit I can do this on the series 16 or 18 fanuc but on the series O i'm stumped. This would save alot of time not having to get the laptop and downloading that way, any help would be appreciated.

You need the EX-EDT (Extended Edit) option.

If you go to EDIT mode, press PRGRM , then press the > soft key you will see EX-EDT if the option is turned on.

ex-edit soft key will not appear, must be turned off, any way to turn this option on??? fanuc series o thanks

You have to buy the option from Fanuc. Or google the correct words.
