Hmmmmmmm, if 30xx alarm then it must be something involve operator false. Download the manual and check it out. http://rapidshare.com/files/33603070...ser_Manual.pdf

You don't say what Fanuc model you have. I couldn't find any error 3002 in the 21T manual... Is this a macro you wrote, or one that used to work but doesn't now? Could you post the macro here and tell us where the alarm is occuring?

#3000=2(ERROR MESSAGE YOU SEE AFTER THE 3002 NUMBER)
or
#3000=2
Look for one of these lines in all your macro programs.
Alarm messages with number > 3000 are all macro alarms, no fanuc manual will list them, only MTB manuals can show the explanation.

Macro Alarm 3002

Correction- Getting Macro Alarm 3002, not error. Today it stopped the machine once, another time got the the alarm and did not stop machine and yet another time machine stopped with no alarm. Each time in the past two days machine has stopped after either internal or external thread tool ran and returned to starting point of threading cycle. Fanuc 21. Sorry for the mix up, still new at this.

When the mchine is threading, look to see what program is active in the top right, it'll probably be a 9000 (9xxx) program. Open this program and search for #3000=2. There you can find the cause. If this program was written my the MTB it should be documented.
