Exclamation Memory Clear / Reset

I am having a problem with communications for my machine. It is a Hitachi Seiki HT20SIII with Seicos L Multi control. I was told there is a way to clear the memory by pressing 2-3 buttons upon startup. Does anyone know how to do this? If you need more information see my other posts. I am still having the same problem.

Thanks

Basically, someone hit emergency stop while i was sending a program to the machine. Now when I start the machine and go to the sned/recieve screen, all of the communication parameters are blank, all of the programs are gone, and once i am in that screen, no matter what button i push, the machine freezes up and I have to shut it down.

Its a Seicos Multi controller. And when I power up the machine, there are no errors at all. Everything functions a it should, which is odd. I cant imagine what the problem is

On my Fanuc controllers if the control is powered down for example E stop when the LSK/input is flashing on screen (ie loading a program) the parameters and programs are deleted so if as you say the parameters are blank that`s most likely what`s happened I think.

Re-loading the Parameters (They were backed up somewhere???) should do the trick.

I got it solved. I had a guy come over and show me what to do. He adjusted some control knobs on the board in the back, did the memory reset, and set it up so it wont happen again. I tested it, and hit E-Stop while inputting, and nothing happened. So i am all set and don't have to worry about my clumsy friend. Why couldn't they do that in the first place???

thanks for the help
