I have an older Fanuc 6m Controller. The Memory has been upgraded so I can fill it with data. However the programs are limited to 9999. I've thought about doing the subprogram thing, but then would this be done by a post processor that will do it automatically? Or another way around this issue? Thanks for any info! |

Exactly - Only use Nxxxx on safe start lines for each tool. |

| I use N-numbers only if these are absolutely necessary. I believe, duplication of block numbers is permitted, if the such numbers are not being referenced in the program. So, after 9999, you can again start with 0001. |
