i use unigraphics cam to program for 3d models. i have a problem using the program generated. whenever i use the program on a fanuc controller based machine, i find the tool moving with jerks and unusual feeds (devaiated from the original feeds given in the program) enevn though i give G08 G64 P1 FOR ADVANCED PREVIEW CONTROL COMMAND IN THE PROGRAM. PLEASE HELP ME HOW TO AVOID THIS PROBLEM. |

| First of all, the 21i-M manual says G08 P1 must be in a block by itself. You have a G64 in there, too. Don't know if this makes a difference or not. Try putting the G64 in a block before the G08. What model Fanuc control? Is the program stored in memory, or are you drip-feeding? |

| G64 is the default. So, it need not be explicitly programmed. Why are you suspecting the machine? The output file from UNIGRAPHICS' post-processor may have problems. Check the program where you see unexpected behaviour. |

| Al-Nano tightens the machine movements in HSM. It might help. One point to be noted is that with different year and series Fanucs the G-Code to turn it on plus the format (some like a canned cycle) is different. This one is for a Fanuc 0i-MC (2006) Here is an example of G5.1 high speed machining. G90G0G54G80G40G49 (G49 must be called before G5.1) G5.1Q1R1 (G5.1 high speed, Q1 turn s it on, R = precision 1-10 (1 = least precise, 10 = most precise)) G43H1X0Y0Z1.0M3S500T2 machining cycle G5.1 Q0 (TURN OF HIGH SPEED) Z5.0 G91G30Z0
