I now have a turret servo alarm. How can i get this reset in order to home the machine?

Has the machine been run recently? It may be you need to override the soft limits in order to zero out the slides. I believe if you power down then hold the P and CAN keys while the control powers up, it should allow you to zero out the machine.

This is the first time i have touched this machine. I do not know what they have used this machine for or who has used it. I believe that the turret was used to press some parts straight. They want me to get it up and running. thanks for your help.

Please elaborate on the turret servo alarm.
(Alarm displayed on screen and alarms on turret servo controller)

Maybe the backup battery for the absolute encoder has to be replaced and the reference procedure for the turret should be executed.

Check parameter 1815.
