Hi,All I have a victor v center-4 with a fanuc 10m controller and I notice when I go to the position screen at the bottom of the screen it has such things as feed rate speed rate and rpm.Every thing has something beside it but the rpm is this something that the manufacture of the machine does not use or is it a parameter setting that I do not have set? Thank You |

| Do you have an encoder on the final spindle shaft? Al.

| Check the spindle drive. Usually there is a piggy-back pcb mounted on the spindle control pcb. If the spec is A20B-0008-0030, then orientation is performed with a magnetic sensor and therefore spindle rpm is visible with an analog panel meter only. |

| If you have a feedback of the encoder attached as Al said then you have to have parameter 2204.0 (NOS) set to 0 to display the spindle speed on the CRT. I am not looking at a 10 series manual. I only have the 15 but most of the parameter settings are the same. To verify if you have the manual it should be under something like “parameters related to CRT/MDI and Editing”. Stevo |
