I can't get a Mori with an 18i control to do a sram backup. The first 512mb file does fine. The second file gives me a sram parity error. There have been no problems with this control. Runs fine with no problems. What is this error for and how do I get around it?? |

| Anways.. you have 2 choices.. 1 being do a backup via rs232 by downloading all the parameters separately. OR punch out all your programs O-9999... if you get a 910 ram parity it means its the program storage area of the sram.. so ur gonna need to power the control on holding the DELETE key.. it will clear all the programs so try to back up as many as possible.. including all 9000 programs |

To solve this issue. You must do a backup using the rs232. You cannot use the sram card at this time. Backup EVERYTHING. Then you´ve got to clear memory. Upload EVERYTHING. Now you can use the sram card. Since your machine is working fine, I suggest not to do this procedure. Alexfanuc |
