Fanuc 6T controll, no Optional stop (M01) Way to install? - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

I have a miyano Lathe with a Fanuc 6t controll. There is no switch on the controll panal for an optional stop. So when the Program calls an M01, it just skips over it. Is there a way to connect a switch somewhere to the circut board or something? It really sucks when you cant have that optional stop switch.

Use M00. Optional stop shall be made in the PLC. Finding a free input is half of the job, after that some lines should be added to the PLC, and there are no many of us here that can do it on 6T.

M01 should be wired at the I/O PCB connector C04 pin 27.
If you do it right, checking diagnosis 2.1 (#2 bit 1) should give you a one when it is ON.
