Need Help! How do I reset SV01 alarm on Fanuc 0M - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

Apparently we had a power spike last night that blew up one of the power cables outside. Didn't trip any breakers but now my machine won't start up.

It's a Mori Seiki MV40B and all I get is a flashing SV01 on the motherboard. I've reset every breaker I can find and turned the breakers on and off. The power is back to normal.

That's as far as I can get ... the machine won't boot any further.

Oh, one last thing ... the machine was turned off when the power spike occurred.

All of a sudden it decided to work. Bizarre.

If anyone has any info on this fault and why it may have happened, I'd like to know more.

Sorry, but are you shure your control is 0 series. Alarm SV01 isn't mentioned in none of my manuals for Fanuc 0.

And, as I know there is no 7-segment indicators on motherboards. Only LEDs
