Hi. I am cleanning/rebuilding a machine that is new here in my shop. In fact is the 1st cnc lathe. Bassically everthing works, and I have a question that should be common to other machines. It should not be relevant, but machine is an EMCO turn 345. Control is Fanuc 21 TB. I select a program, then I goto auto mode. In auto mode, if I press start machine does not do nothing, ONLY if I select "single line" button. Doing this, and if I press start, line by line are executed until the end of program. My question is what can be wrong so that the "full auto" does not work. Thank you, Filipe |

| Door is off the machine, but the switch of the door is on its place (machine thinks that door is always closed). Should it jog and run single line with door open? When I jog and make single line runs, I do not need to press any interlock, so I suspect that related to the door everthing is fine. Thanks. |

Not really sure as I am not familiar with this machine. I do know that there are machines that allow you to do everything except run full auto with the door open. They call this set-up mode. I am not sure how your machine works, since it is designed as a training tool. |

| There is not any operator message. After reading the posts I went to double check the door, and I have simulated the door open (since I have no door). Doing this when I press the start button, then I have a alarm saying door is open. So door was closed. Trying several things, I made something by chance that works! I goto automode, then I press single line. Push start and then when machine is executing one line (any line), I remove the single line switch. Doing this there she goes, does all in auto mode !!! |
