KURAKI KV-1000 FLASHING RED LIGHT

I am working on a KURAKI KV-1000 with a 15ma control. It lost power in a tool change and we reset the counters (C1,C2) and tool data information (data bits). Now the red machine lamp on the control will flash and the machine showes a "stop" on the bottom of the screen. What could be causing the red light to flash?
