I have a Ikegai With a fanuc 6T Control. DC spindle Drive No. A06B-6041-H106. The phase fuses blow upon a run command. I checked all of the SCR's for shorts but all seem ok. I measured the resistance on the motor armature and it reads about 2 tenths of an ohm, seems kinda low to me. I measured the resistance on another motor and it measured 7 tenths of an ohm.  I would appreciate any help on this problem. Thanks, jerry  |

| Do the fuses hang in if you disconnect the motor? Inspect the brushes and the commutator. Resistance reading will not tell you much. Al.

| Hi Al thanks for the quick reply I haven't tried turning it on with the motor disconnected. But the fuses don't blow until I tell the spindlw to go. I will check the brushes and comutator as you suggest. again thanks. Jerry |

| Also if you have access to a Megger it will detect grounds etc. Al.
