Copying Programs On Fanuc OM

Can anyone tell me if its a parameter that controls the copying function on the OM control or if its an add on in the software please?
Im used to working machines with the copy function already there and this new machine iv just bought is driving me nuts without the copy function.
Lifes so much easier with this when the programs are nearly the same and it saves so much time but makes you wonder why some machines dont have it

thanks

Program edit functions, like cut, copy and paste should be at the very least, gifts from the machine tool dealer.........But why give away something that costs nothing when you can gouge a few hundred bucks for it?

Yeah for someone to come in and change one bit of info secretively so you won't know what it is. As all machines have every bit of "available" software embedded from the factory(for the most part). I hope someone will slip you the info as one of the machine tool techs did for me...not being able to use the most basic of editing functions is ridiculous.

Would be nice if i knew but i cant expect anyone to land in trouble over a silly thing like that.
I did contemplate having a play with the 900 parameters to see what they turn up but it wold be just my luck that i would change one that would wipe the machine out

Chances are, it is in the keep relays. But like you said a little curiousity and lack of knowledge can be a bad combination
